Our 30th

Jenn and I have been married for 30 years today. I’ve learned a few things along the way.

1. There are two words that matter more than any of them - Thank You

2. Assuming malice will make your life miserable

3. She respects me and it’s like oxygen

4. She believes in me and it’s like rocket fuel

5. Just because you validate her doesn’t mean you agree

6. Keep short accounts. If something ain’t right say something

7. Pray together

8. Ask for what you need (longings are not needs)

9. You want the same outcome in 99% of your arguments

10. Listen to her feelings. Logic is for another time.
